The following are our terms and conditions applicable to all bookings made on our website. We cordially request you to go through the terms and conditions before making a reservation:
Rate Plans
There is primarily one standard rate plan for each suite which can be booked from our website. In addition to this we offer special Promo Codes to be used on our website. On application of such Promo Codes, the reservation becomes non-refundable when cancelled within 30 days or less before check-in.
Standard Rate Plan
- This rate plan is bookable any time.
- For reservations for two nights or more the standard nightly rate is €20 cheaper.
- Weekly rates are further discounted by 5%.
- The Standard rate plan includes breakfast.
- Use of Swimming pool (Subject to daily opening schedule).
- Guest can cancel free of charge up to 2 days before check in (Cut off time at 14:00) .
- Guest can modify reservation days as necessary subject to availability and for a reservation of equal value up to 2 days before check in.
- Credit card verification is required 30 days or less before check-in for security purposes.
- No prepayment or deposit required and the reservation is paid in full on check-in date.
- No show on agreed check-in time or notification of postponed arrival date within the subsequent booked days, the full amount will still be charged as per agreed reservation price and the reservation dates will be honoured only for the booked days only.
Special Offer Rates (by promo code)
- These rates are bookable during offer days only.
- This rates are bookable for a minimum of 3 days.
- Free cancellation up to 30 days before check-in (Cut off time at 14:00). Full reservation price will have to be honoured if cancelled during the 30 days before arrival date.
- Guest can modify reservation days as necessary subject to availability and for a reservation of equal value up to 7 days before check in.
- Credit card verification is required 30 days before check-in for security purposes.
- No prepayment or deposit required and the reservation is paid in full on check-in day.
- No show on agreed check-in time or notification of postponed arrival date within the subsequent booked days, the full amount will still be charged as per agreed reservation price and the reservation dates will be honoured only for the booked days only.
Prices
The prices shown on our website (mulberries.mt) are in Euro Currency and are final. Suite rates differ from one suite to another primarily because all the Suites at the Mulberries are different in form, layout or location. The prices shown include a 7% Value Added Tax (VAT) and an Environmental Contribution (ECO TAX) of Eur 0.5 per person per night. Once the suite/s with its relative rate is/are selected, the total reservation price will appear in the summary. Any additional bed or cot is to be requested at the time of the reservation as to include the necessary additional fees accordingly.
Reservations and card details
Once a reservation is submitted on our website (mulberries.mt) it would need to be confirmed by our personnel. Once the reservation is confirmed guest will receive correspondence with reservation details. 30 days before check-in guest will receive a request to confirm reservation by submitting credit/debit card details and hence an authorisation for the use of this card for the value of the reservation price. The amount will blocked by the TRUST SYSTEM as a guarantee. This implies that we will have the right to require full payment of the reservation in line with the terms outlined by Rate Plan chosen. Confirmation of the reservation will take place only once details have been provided and card verified by authorized third party. The reservation amount will be transferred automatically on the day of the check-in.
Payments & Charges
All reservation made through our website shall be settled prior to check-in in line with the rate plan chosen. This means that full reservation payment can be effected at any time prior check in at guests request or at the property on check in. Consumptions and services on shall be invoiced on consumption on the property shall be settled either on the time of consumption or at check-out, if not these will be automatically debited to the card details provided with the reservation.
Cancellations or Changes
Cancellations or changes are only permitted in line with terms of the rate plan chosen. If guest cancels in any other time post cut-off date and time, the full payment will not be refunded. Changes to booking dates after cut-off date are not acceptable, however in extraordinary circumstances and depending on availability; guest can try to contact the management to try to accommodate a change in date. Such requests can be made only via email. Changes in dates might result in increase room rates depending on the season and availability and the management reserves the right to refuse any changes.
Check-in & Check-out
On check-in at the property each guests shall be required to confirm their identity by present an official identification document. We reserve the right to refuse entry to persons who cannot provide an identification document, this implies also to temporary visitors and persons offering services to the guests. The document shall be scanned for record keeping purposes and may be disclosed or made available for inspection by any local authority or otherwise required by law in connection with the prevention or investigation of fraud or crime.
Guests may check-in at any time after 14:00 on the scheduled check-in day. It is a must that the approximate time of arrival at the property is communicated and agreed on with the management especially if the guest intends to check in after 18:00, this to make the necessary arrangements to access the property. Self check-in may be organized only under extraordinary circumstances only.
Check- out time is set at 11:00 am and guests are cordially requested to vacate the room not later than the set time. In any case the property has a luggage room at the disposal of the guests in the eventuality the latter have a late return flight. Guests are also cordially requested to inform the management about the time they are going to vacate the room especially if they are planning to leave in early morning. In such eventuality any pending bills are to be settled the day before.
Changes or Cancellation by Mulberries
We reserve the right to cancel, not accept or modify a reservation at our own discretion. This may happen in a rare eventuality, in such case circumstances, if the payment would have been effected, the guest will be given a full refund but we shall have no further liability to the guest arising out of such cancellation. We will, however make our utmost to try and re-locate any confirmed booking cancelled by us to an alternative location similar in standard.
Until your reservation is confirmed by providing your credit card details there might be a change in room allocation depending on availability. There might also be a change in room allocation due to extraordinary circumstances. In such a case the room allocated will be of equal standard or better.
Parking
Close to the property there are ample free public parking spaces. The property has an underground secure car park with limited spaces available against a daily tariff which are made available to the guests. To avoid disappointment the parking needs to be pre-booked ideally with the reservation. A set of garage rules need to be followed both for security and safety measures. Cars and their contents are parked at own risk and the management will not accept responsibility for any losses or damages.
Smoking
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all suites and internal spaces and limited only to the designated outdoor areas as long as it does not create an inconvenience to the other guests. In the eventuality a guests smokes in the suite the hotel will apply a cleaning and room refreshing fine of Eur 250.
Children
Children guests under the age of 17 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times. If additional beds, interconnected rooms or a family room is required, please enquire before confirming your booking. Additional beds and cribs are available only in some of the suites as indicated on the relative suite schedule and are limited and subject to availability. Additional charges of Eur 35 per night for an extra bed and Eur15 for a crib apply.
Company Liability
The Company will not be liable for any indirect, consequential or pure economic loss or any loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity whether caused by the negligence of the Company, its employees, contractor or agents or otherwise. The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the value of the reservation value Nothing contained in the Contract or in any other document referred to or incorporated in it shall be read or construed as excluding any liability for death or personal injury caused by the Company’s negligence or liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

The company does not accept responsibility for errors or omissions and reserve the right to amend, cancel or vary any of the arrangements featured on the website accordingly.
